Robert had the makings of a good king but over the years he became indulgent and let his overambitious wife have her way. He always tries to do right by others, which in itself can be a weakness. Ned is an intelligent man with a big heart. Ned, Lord Stark of Winterfell and the north, is his friend. And he became king by usurping the dragon king and killing nearly all of the dragon kingвЂ™s family. Game of Thrones wouldnвЂ™t be the captivating story that it is without its complexity. The wealth of characters and different stories are all linked in one way or the other. But within a few chapters, I had a grip on the story and couldnвЂ™t put the book down. At times, it was also difficult for me to follow because there are so many characters and so much going on.

For example, one of the primary characters goes by the name of Ned, Eddard, or Lord Stark. At first I was a bit confused because some of the characters go by different names. Martin does an excellent job of developing the characters and telling the story from each of their perspectives. As you may have guessed, it is a story told from different points of view from people with different ambitions to obtain, uphold, or thwart the power of the king. I did see this movie in theaters but IвЂ™d love to see it again.ДЄre there any other great sci-fi or fantasy movies coming out soon? Do you have any recommendations for some good fantasy novels? I really need to get back into my fantasy. And I just got the DVD of John Carter which I ordered from Disney. I am also looking forward to seeing Men in Black III. I guess I have been too busy to take the time to go to the theater. There are a few great movies out right now that I want to see but havenвЂ™t had a chance. I watched it for the first time yesterday and it was great! Since Blockbuster is going out of business, I was able to buy the final DVD at a reasonable price. But for some reason, I never got a chance to see the last one. IвЂ™ve read all the Harry Potter books some time past. Hopefully, I will get done just in time for when the final book to The Wheel of Time comes out. It is going to take me a while to get through them all since I am going back to school. Since the final novel is coming up soon, I wanted to catch up on the story. Since it is already in a new season, I will buy the first season on DVD very very soon.
